The goal of MOVE Transfer – Healthy Club is to exchange competences, know-how, skills and experiences among the project partners by transferring the Slovenian Best Practice "Healthy Club" model of Quality Mark to Italy and Romania. The overall scope of the project is to encourage participation in sport and physical activity, especially by supporting the implementation of the EU Physical Activity Guidelines.
The project is following the good example of MOVE Transfer in 2017/2018 when Healthy Club was implemented in Bulgaria and in Malta.
By exchanging the good practice internationally, the project focuses on fostering the organisational development and capacity building in local sport organisations, and also developing competences, skills, knowledge, and attitudes in those who are engaged in sport and physical activity such as trainers, coaches, volunteers, existing and potential members, and active partners.
The main project activities will be training, seminars and networking activities; consultancies; publications and research; ABC training and support in purchasing sport equipment. On long-term basis, we intend to develop cross-sector and cross-border partnerships with other sectors such as health, education, and media, in particular supporting effective networking among local clubs in different countries.
